Asunder cover + an Incarnate manicure!

I know I’m late to celebrate, but the sequel to Incarnate has a cover! I personally like it even more that Incarnate, and the name is pretty awesome, too!

And just read the synopsis! Sounds exciting!

DARKSOULS
Ana has always been the only one. Asunder. Apart. But after Templedark, when many residents of Heart were lost forever, some hold Ana responsible for the darksouls–and the newsouls who may be born in their place.

SHADOWS
Many are afraid of Ana’s presence, a constant reminder of unstoppable changes and the unknown. When sylph begin behaving differently toward her and people turn violent, Ana must learn to stand up not only for herself but for those who cannot stand up for themselves.

LOVE
Ana was told that nosouls can’t love. But newsouls? More than anything, she wants to live and love as an equal among the citizens of Heart, but even when Sam professes his deepest feelings, it seems impossible to overcome a lifetime of rejection.

In this second book in the Incarnate trilogy, Ana discovers the truth about reincarnation and will have to find a way to embrace love and make her young life meaningful. Once again, Jodi Meadows explores the extraordinary beauty and shadowed depths of the soul in a story equal parts epic romance and captivating fantasy.

To celebrate, Jodi Meadows is being awesome and giving away her last pair of mittens! All you have to do is take a picture of yourself holding Incarnate! That sounds easy enough, right? I wish!

IncarnateMy camera decided to break the day before the contest started, and then my webcam started to malfunction, and so finally, this morning, I decided to seek help from my 11 year old sister by borrowing the Flip camera which she has claimed as her own (when in fact, it has always been mine.) But of course if I was going to borrow from her, I might as well go all out and give myself a manicure! (So as you are examining my bad quality image, take notice to my Incarnate themed nails!) After all that was over and done with, I still had to use a picture instead of a video, and my screenshots didn’t want to agree with me! Finally, though, it worked out.

Hopefully you were smart and just skipped over that extremely long paragraph!

What do you think of the Asunder cover and my sparkly nails?

I love comments, and I promise I read every single one. I do my best to reply to all your meaningful comments, so come back in a couple days to see if I have! And if you see that I've responded to others comments and not yours, it's just because I've been struck dumb by your awesomeness! And if you leave me a link to your blog, I'll try to stop by and comment!

This is an award and tag-free zone! I'm honored, but I don't have the time to pass it along )=
