Wishing on Wednesday #9: Asunder by Jodi Meadows

Inspired by “Waiting on” Wednesday hosted by Breaking the Spine and Wishlist Wednesday hosted by Pen to Paper

Wishing on Wednesday is a weekly meme to feature recent and upcoming releases that I’m wishing for!

Asunder (Newsoul, #2)

DARKSOULS
Ana has always been the only one. Asunder. Apart. But after Templedark, when many residents of Heart were lost forever, some hold Ana responsible for the darksouls–and the newsouls who may be born in their place.

SHADOWS
Many are afraid of Ana’s presence, a constant reminder of unstoppable changes and the unknown. When sylph begin behaving differently toward her and people turn violent, Ana must learn to stand up not only for herself but for those who cannot stand up for themselves.

LOVE
Ana was told that nosouls can’t love. But newsouls? More than anything, she wants to live and love as an equal among the citizens of Heart, but even when Sam professes his deepest feelings, it seems impossible to overcome a lifetime of rejection.

In this second book in the Incarnate trilogy, Ana discovers the truth about reincarnation and will have to find a way to embrace love and make her young life meaningful. Once again, Jodi Meadows explores the extraordinary beauty and shadowed depths of the soul in a story equal parts epic romance and captivating fantasy

Why I Want It:

I loved Incarnate so much, and Asunder sounds even better! Plus the cover is gorgeous (:

  3. I'm so excited to read Asunder! I really enjoyed Incarnate, and Jodi Meadows is like the sweetest author ever. And she knits so many awesome things! But I can't wait to see this discovery that Anna makes about reincarnation, and how this thing with the newsouls is going to work. The cover is also gorgeous, I totally agree. Although I do think I like Incarnate's better.

Fantastic pick! I can't wait to read this one, thank goodness we have less than a month until its release. ;)

I love comments, and I promise I read every single one. I do my best to reply to all your meaningful comments, so come back in a couple days to see if I have! And if you see that I've responded to others comments and not yours, it's just because I've been struck dumb by your awesomeness! And if you leave me a link to your blog, I'll try to stop by and comment!

This is an award and tag-free zone! I'm honored, but I don't have the time to pass it along )=
