{Fairy Tales Retold Challenge} Review Link Up + Giveaway

2014 Fairy Tales Retold Challenge

Happy March! The snow is melting and the flowers are popping up. I think that’s a sign that it’s time to check in with the Fairy Tales Retold Challenge! I hope all participants have been having fun discovering new fairy tales so far. The year is still young, but I hope you’ve all had fun discovering new tales thus far!

I’ll keep this short and simple. There is a Linky directly below, where you can link-up any reviews which qualify for the 2014 Fairy Tales Retold Challenge (any retelling which you’ve read in 2014). Ideally have them formatted as such: Debz Bookshelf: Cruel Beauty. Blog name and book title. Easy peasy, right? The Linky will be open through March, in order to give you time to catch up on your reviews.

March Giveaway And now on to the fun stuff! I’m offering a giveaway of ONE of the three following books: STRANDS OF BRONZE AND GOLD by JANE NICKERSON, A KISS IN TIME by ALEX FLINN, and THE SWEETEST SPELL by SUZANNE SELFORS to US residents, or a $10 Gift Card to International entrants!

RULES:

  • Must be 13 or older, or have a parent’s permission
  • Must be a US resident, or be able to accept an Amazon gift card if International.
  • Must be an official participant of the 2014 Fairy Tales Retold Reading Challenge.
  • Giveaway will run from March 1st @ 12:01AM to April 1st @ 11:59PM.
  • ONE winner will receive ONE book of their choice from the options presented, OR a $10 Amazon Gift Card if the winner is an international participant. (If you already own all three choices, then we can work something else out (: )

The mandatory entries are Join the 2014 Fairy Tales Retold Challenge (which hopefully you did back in December!) and to Link Up a Review. You can earn additional entries for each additional review you link-up (up to 5 reviews).

  1. I don't know what fairy tale I'm looking forward to reading. I'll try to find something good.

    1. Sometimes the spontaneous discovers are the best! If you want any help finding something, I've got more than a few suggestions!

  2. I have read 4 fairy tales so far, but they have all been Rapunzel retellings and my reviews will be up in March. I have been in a fairy tale mood this year so I'm hoping to read more fairy tales in March to prepare for fairy tale fortnight.

    1. I like to binge read retellings of a certain tale sometimes, and I've got a handful of Rapunzels in front of me, too! I'm so excited for Fairy Tale Fortnight!

    2. Just linked up all my reviews I have read 5 fairy tale retellings so far. I'm working through one on my computer, but it is slow moving.

    3. Great! I forgot to close the list, and technically you're free to link up whichever reviews whenever, but the next link-up isn't until June, when I'll be offering a pretty cool prize (:

  3. There are so many awesome fairy tale retellings being released this year but there are 4 that I'm REALLY looking forward to: Princess of Thorns, Stitching Snow, Second Star & Dorothy Must Die. I've been super excited for those ones for a while now and hopefully I'll come across a few more throughout the year as well :)

I love comments, and I promise I read every single one. I do my best to reply to all your meaningful comments, so come back in a couple days to see if I have! And if you see that I've responded to others comments and not yours, it's just because I've been struck dumb by your awesomeness! And if you leave me a link to your blog, I'll try to stop by and comment!

This is an award and tag-free zone! I'm honored, but I don't have the time to pass it along )=
